Our YOSIMA clay design plaster is available in 146 elegant natural shades, blended from carefully selected white, yellow, red, green, brown, and black clays. Among them, the Classic white shade WE0 remains our most popular choice – used in both residential design projects and large-scale projects.

Our technical team has now refined the formulation of this flagship color. By incorporating new natural raw materials, the updated YOSIMA Clay Design Plaster WE0 offers enhanced abrasion resistance and improved workability. Its appearance remains a brilliant, deep white. Slight tonal variations – characteristic of natural products without artificial dyes or pigments – may still occur.

The new WE0 will be available for shipment starting Monday, April 13, 2026.

Change in the Shipping Process

Until now, our shipments have been scheduled and loaded based on the pure net weight. Due to stricter legal requirements in Germany, as well as in the interest of general road safety and the well-being of all parties involved, we will in future need to take the actual gross weight into account. This includes not only the goods themselves, but also the weight of pallets and packaging.

As a result, the following maximum weight limits apply to our truck loadings:

• max. 22 tonnes gross weight for trucks with unloading equipment
• max. 24 tonnes gross weight for trucks without unloading equipment

The corresponding weights will be shown in our price list effective from April 1, 2026, including both net and gross weight.

These measures serve to ensure compliance with legal requirements and to maintain a smooth and safe shipping process. We kindly ask you to take these changes into account in your scheduling and planning.

Effective immediately, the side of our wood fibreboard HFA maxi to be plastered has changed:
The side to be plastered is the light, sanded surface printed with the product designation.

Our earth-moist ClayTec clay products may freeze in frosty conditions due to the moisture they contain. However, this does not affect product quality. Only application is restricted during sub-zero temperatures. Once thawed, plasters and masonry mortars can be processed again without any issues and as usual.

Our Clay color plaster coarse in the shades bright, beige, red, green, yellow, and gray are tinted, single-layer finishing plasters for a wide variety of applications. They can be applied directly to sufficiently even and suitable solid building substrates (such as sand-lime brick masonry).

New: Significantly improved quality of the “bright” shade

Our technical department has fundamentally optimized the coarse clay plaster in the shade “bright.” Through the use of new, high-quality raw materials and a refined formulation, it now offers noticeable advantages in both processing and results:

• Smoother application: The plaster is easier to apply and spreads more evenly.
• Increased abrasion resistance: The surface is more robust and durable.
• Brighter color effect: The shade appears fresher and more vibrant ‒ ideal for modern, bright interior design concepts.

With an application thickness of 6 mm, the clay color plaster coarse is also perfectly suited for substrates whose surface structure is too uneven for thin-layer coatings. It can be applied traditionally with a trowel or mechanically by spraying. Depending on the tools used and the degree of drying, a wide variety of surface textures can be created, giving every room an authentically natural character.

Don’t forget ‒ protect the following materials from winter frost:

– Primer RED, YELLOW and WHITE
– ClayTec clay paint
– ClayTec clay roll plaster
– Deep foundation and strengthener

To prevent frost damage, please store all of the above products at temperatures above 4 °C. Also advise your customers on the proper storage of the products during winter and point out that temperatures in garden sheds, outbuildings and garages can fall below 4 °C.
